Our Class Rules

                          These are rules that are used throughout the primary

                          program at WCES.  These are posted in our room,    
                          and we review them regularly.  

                     1.  Treat others as you would want to be     
                      treated (hands  and feet to self, treat  
                      others with respect)

                          2.  Use inside voices and walking feet.

                     3.  Follow directions (listen and do your job).

                     4.  Everything has a home (put things where 
                     they belong, for example: center materials  
                     back in boxes and on shelf).

                      5.  Bring materials and homework to class.

 

                   This is our class pledge that we recite daily during our
                     calendar  time.   I explain to the children that 
a pledge is a promise, and  that 
             we are making this promise to one another!

I pledge

to show my respect

by listening to others,

using my hands for helping,

caring about others' feelings,

and being responsible for what I say and do.
